Ant he has one of those awesome BMW K1600's, I don't think he will want any.

All the more reason to tart it up.... :mfr_lol: :whistling:

Kwikasfuki

Um, I'm going to be pedantic and go with Winston  :whistling:

Other thought I had was maybe a strapline somewhere?

Ant, I wasn't trying to be awkward, I am still a passionate fan of the 1400, I just know what some 'anoraks' can be like.

I can just imagine the adenoid & bespectacled in the funny voice that no-one quite knows, but always uses saying
"I think you'll find it's a 1400GTR, as it's known in Europe or Concours by our, ahem, Atlantic cousins - Not a GTR1400"

Followed by

"Oh, you say you're members of the premier forum for this machine - Mmm, thought you'd have been aware of it's true designation

A little investment now may save embarrassment at a later date.

A strap line would be good too, like Asif stated.  Even just a nicked one from Kawasaki, "Let the Goodtimes Roll" or "The Worlds Most Efficient Fly Killer"

I know what your saying !

What I'm annoyed about is that its being noticed now, when I asked for feedback only a few commented. If that wasn't seen by yourselves and had no time to comment, fair enough.

Right, what 'strap line' and where ? QUICKLY.......And everyone chirp up PLEASE.       I'll see if I can get it 'politically correct' before artwork is done.

If not and someone said to me "I think you'll find it's a 1400GTR"      My response would be "Not on our Forum its not, thats why we're different".  Or words to that affect..... :whistling:

We are not selling parts for the bike, or advertising sales for it.....its a forum and the bike can be called what we like. If someone wants to be an "anorak" I say let it rain.

I will do my best to get it changed JUST to keep a few happy..........then have feedback....after Sunday thats it...

I can get them changed as they were just about to do the artwork this afternoon...... so ill change to 1400 GTR and we just need a catch slogan / strap line ---  and where it should be, before Monday Morning

More along the lines of " Keep up if you can "

Theres plenty Just Here to look through

I'll check back later.

Good news also, the price per label is .67p each + vat = .804....so I will round it off to .90p each to pay for envelope. ( This isn't the selling price ! ) Please see other Topic

Get it right and i'll order 200.

BTW a sticker or 2 will go on each of my bikes as I'm advertising the forum - not the bike.

Winston Smith

"Faster Than A Speeding Ticket" is my entry (Yes I know I haven't got one...)

If it were me I would have the strap line in the border at the top and the 'www' around the bottom border

(Oh and Ant - I will have a couple when they're sorted)

It's an incredibly difficult task designing, organising things like a Forum Sticker or even a T-Shirt  :mfr_lol:

Be aware that you can please some of the members all of the time and all of the member some of the time, but it's unlikely that you will be able to please all of the members all of the time

Don't forget its a Forum slogan, I think I would get laughed at if pulled with that slogan..... :mfr_lol:  or I would at least feel stupid.

There are some good ones on that site, and if at least 5 people don't agree on one, I'll pick

Well I'm quite prepared to do t shirts with the sticker design once finalised....thats why its important to get the right slogan.

If others don't partake in the thread ( or via PM if unsure of posting ) the design will be as is.......
