Hi viper. I looked at that very good but for me to put on the frames it's 2 bolts to put on and one bolt and a circlip to remove foot pegs

oh dam, you have to remove the footpegs every time

How about taking a chainsaw to the door frame ?  :mfr_lol:

I have to pass the wall of the building then turn into a steel shed the bike is left in at night.
They pass the wall alright but the shed double doors are the problem you cannot approach straight and there is not room for one of those little turntables so I will fit when using the panniers no hassle

No unless you have a space problem like me looking at the near side 1 bolt is replaced ( new longer bolt supplied ) by the suspension adjuster and the pin and circlip holding the rear foot pegs is replaced with a bolt and locknut the foot pegs are still there and usable if needed.

rode it for the first time this year. Nice little trip over the cat and fiddle and onto the " Plague Village " in Derbyshire, I can recommend it to anyone if they are in the area

It would have been about 250 if you had both chosen the same services North or South  :whistling: :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol:

Installed the replacement starter relay.
All is good for now. After the regulator and now the starter relay I'm betting the battery is next.

Winston Smith

Just replaced a set of Michelin PR4's which have been a terrible tyre.

They squared off front and rear and the right shoulder of front tyre has worn unevenly.

Front and rear have feathered on tread leading edge and heat cracks have appeared on rear tyre too.

6.1k miles, still got 2.5 - 3mm but unrideable.

So......29,854 miles....

£250 has been spent on a set of Bridgestone T30's.

First impressions - very stiff.  Bike turns in a lot quicker, probably due to less flex in side walls.

Working on a cycling event as Moto-Marshall this weekend, so that should scrub them in well!

Let's see how these go!
Four is fun.  Six is sex.

Boomer

Thrashed the 1400 to work and back.
Was a motorcycle accident on the M25 on the way home at J4.
M25 closed so assume he died. Hope not.

In other news saw a 1400 northbound on the M23 this morning at 06:45. Anyone on here?

Had it MOT'd and pumped the tyres up, an embarrassing low 1137 miles since last MOT!

I had the KTM 625 SMC, MOT'd as well, an embarrassing low 8 miles since the last MOT! (Ps it's 4 miles each way to the MOT Centre!)

I did the ZZR 14 and the VFR750 last week, pretty much the same, the ZZR did 117 miles and the VFR did 28 miles, and they both included the 8 mile round trip to the MOT Centre.

The only good news is with such low miles that none of them needed anything doing  (I had to replace an indicator bulb on the KTM pre MOT)

I try to use all the bikes to commute when the weather is dry, the rest of the time I use the Sccot. The roads have been so wet or greasy this past year that I just haven't wanted to risk the bigger bikes so racking the miles up on the Scoot

Roll on the (dry) summer

Your findings on the PR4s, mirrors exactly my findings on the PR3s that were fitted to my GTR. Absolute and utter shite. And as you state they are knackered long before the tread wears out. :hammer:
