I have just found out about this forum. I have owned a GTR for a year now and live in Kent, we (the better half and me) have ridden about 8000 trouble free miles in the last year and love "our" bike to bits. I also have a zx6r for my personal pleasure. I will be keeping an eye on the forum to see if there are any "meet ups" with other members. We live in Dartford any one else near?

Not been on here long myself but let me be the first to say Welcome.

I'm in the north west so unlikely we'll meet up for run

HI There Madfatjake, welcome to the site  ;D ..... i'm a southerner too (Berkshire).....there's not too many of us down 'ere for some reason.....however that being said, i am involved with a touring club that organises day runs down sarf'...i think we have a meet up at the Ace (for breakkie) on the 23rd of this month heading up in Oxfordshire, and then a Day ride meeting at Gasoline Alley (wrotham) in Early July...you'd be welcome on any of those...just let me know if you'd want to join in, and i'll forward you times, locations etc. I'm always up for a cup of coffee down at Box Hill in you're in the area ;D
It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Hi Jake,

I live in Essex and commute to Crawley every day so if you see a black GTR fighting it's way through the traffic to the Crossing, it's probably me.
If the rider is swearing and kicking cars who won't get out of the way,... then it's definately me.  ;D >:(

It seems several peeps from here and the other forum (1400gtr.org.uk) are going to the Ace Cafe this Sunday for the Kawasaki Day.
I would be there (have been for the last 4 years) but the missus has other plans.

Hope to meet one day. If you see me, wave and give me the "mad-sign" so I know it's you.
("mad-sign" = twirl finger near your temple)  ;)

Hello Madfat ... there are only a few of us from down here ( me ~Sussex ) and I think one other from Hants way. Norman Bates has a thread going ... can anyone help me here and stick it in ?? ... for people just to put down there real name, county, postcode, that sort of thing so we can " map " everyone who joins in etc .. it's a good forum and welcome.
I am going up to the Summer meet in North Wales end of August so there may be 2 or 3 of us going up from the south .. check out the thread as NB suggested it should be really good and give everyone a chance to put names and faces together !!!

madfatjake, that conjures up an image ;D

Welcome along, cant believe you didnt find us earlier. As has been said, you would be extremely welcome to come along on the Wales trip in August, there's 9 of us going so far from all over the country. It's promising to be a brill meet up.

madfatjake

Thanks for all the welcome's. I will be definatly making the trip to the ace this Sunday I will keep me eye out for any gtr's they should'nt be too hard to spot.
