I am hoping that there may be one of those bike specific blower thingys, at the N E C on Thursday.

Been to the show today, but did not see a blower thingy, but then again I was not looking for one, but if you do see one I bet you can find one on the internet cheaper. There were no bargains to speak of all pretty much full price, although we did get a couple of TT coats at a bargain, and £90 show discount off a scarla G9 Bike to Bike. The Kawasaki stand was again the best stand there ( no bias ), seriously thinking of getting a z1000sx.
get a grip and deal with it

I'm sure the SX is a good bike, but I'm not confident that it will be up there in the comfort stakes,  the Versys 1000 has all the same trinkets, and a stonking engine to match the SX.  And from someone who has owned both the big Versys is far more comfy than the GTR.
What would you rather be   or a wasp?

Geoff and Zedman ..  :agree: :agree: :agree:  Music to my ears !! I find cleaning the bike a really great experience .. I love it .. and quite happily spend time making it better than showroom condition !
To dry your lovely bike you need an "Atom" Dryer ... I purchased one earlier in the year and hand on heart it was worth everyone of the many pennies it cost ... hot air cold air fast or slow it dries the bike off in moments and all those nooks and crannies too !  :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol:
Shame on all you non cleaners !!!!

I'm not getting rid of the GTR, NO WAY  !!!, I will PX the monster and buy the naked SX which you can retro fit the panniers should I need to at a later date.

I'm sure the Bike Driers are a very good piece of equipment, and drying your bike correctly after washing is important

I use one of these it also blows up tyres, and is useful for a host of other jobs that I do to my classic bikes. its important not to blow remaining water into switchgear though, a cheaper one can be bought for less money

Blah........ Blah........ Blah......

Less gum flapping and more riding required chum ~ it was minus 3 when I left here on Saturday morning at 9 bells, but with good clothing and heated grips all was fine for the ride out  ~ I covered about 120 miles and enjoyed every minute of it

Yes I am olde, but I love my biking.

I'd rather be known as the "Lakeland Flyer" than the "Liverpool Flapper"  :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol:  :whistling:

Rog.. see you felt the need to put your two penneth worth in  are you feeling left out  sorry about the my "old chum" I've been called worse things than that, admittedly.. mostly from the wife  anyway I prefer to ride my bikes between march and October when the weather is decent and can demand the best from my bikes and cover approx 9,000 miles a year over the best 8 months between my 2 bikes  which consists of weeks long tour of France/Italy, 2 x long week ends trips and various long day trips which averages out to 1,125 miles a month or 281 miles a week I do keep my bikes taxed through out the year just for local short trips to keep things moving. I've done my time riding through winter in my younger days when I didn't have the luxury of a car and when the winters were a lot worse than they are now, so now prefer to use my car the other 4 months of the year when the weather is :shit: I'm not knocking you  or the even older one   because when I'm retired and my other interests get to much for me :whistling: and I've got nothing else better to do  I may also wrapped myself up like the Michelin man and dither dodder about :mfr_lol:

Dear Dave,

Us 'old uns' simply don't allow the weather to interrupt our riding, in fact when it gets really cold, snowy and/or frosty we still ride out, admittedly its necessary for us to use our latest invention which looks a bit boring but its great fun

Here we are testing out the latest machine, if you're a good lad we may even let you have a go    :mfr_lol:
