My co-pilot/navigator says that she would prefer if her grip rails were a bit further forward, in other words, so she doesn't have to put her hands and arms behind her whist on the bike. She reckons it's not so comfortable this way.

Has anyone farkled a way round this? :ohplease:

David.

having to put your arms behind you is a very uncomfortable way to ride.

my co pilot never uses the grab rails but we have a top box with seat pad , alternatively you could just buy a seat pad from sport touring http://www.advancedsporttouring.com/

Those love handle thingys look good.... Good if you don't have a top box and drive like a loon i guess. :mfr_lol:

My girlfriend's daughter (aged 12) uses those grip handles around my jacket. To be fair though, no significant progress is ever made with her on the back, and the bike sports a Givi E52 box with a pad on it. She uses them most of the time but also uses the bikes rails when she feels the need. The handles don't impose any restrictions on me either.

Thanks Guys,

Madame does not want love handles, (I did suggest this) and she has a backrest to lie against, I have been given orders and I have said, "Yes Dear" :helpsmilie:

O.C.

She might prefer them to walking methinks  :mfr_lol:

What about just not holding on?  Feel the bike tell her which way to lean (through the seat), and you just ride smoother.

If she's asks where to put her arms - say hold on to your knees.  It's a really comfortable position, and if you got a top box, she's highly unlikely to come off the back....  :-)

Believe me, she knows how to ride either awake or asleep, she's been doing it for 30 years  :mfr_lol:
