Have noticed since i fitted the cee baileys that if i raise it high enough to kill wind noise i get a draught across the back of my neck ,which will then go down my back ,am i setting it to high or it this a normal thing with such screens. This draught will make neck and just where my helmet ends get quiet cold.

Same happens to me as well. I prefer wearing a balaclava anyhow which resolves the issue

Or try one of those Bandana things to pop around your neck ... stops sun burn and chilly winds down your back !

All the tall screens do this. The CalSci is better with the vent but it still happens.
They create a low pressure area between you and the screen which can feel like it's pulling you forwards.
At your neck the air can flow into the low pressure area easier than it can say halfway down your back, so you get a draught there.

I also wear a balaclava.
In the winter it keeps yer nogging and nose warm.
In the spring and autumn it keeps the draught off yer neck.
In the summer it absorbs sweat and then cools yer nogging by evaporating it.

I have about 10 of them and wear a different one every day.
My better half refers to them as my head knickers.  ;D ;D ;D

that comment is all kinds of wrong!!...head knickers...not a good mental picture ::)
It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Head knickers  :D

I'm actually in a bit of bother with the balaclava. Problem is I work at a bank HQ and, as we know, banks and balaclava don't go together. Apparently there have been reports of someone loitering at the motorbike bay with a balaclava

thxs for the replies i do wear a neck warmer which goes down the chest and back area and goes from nose to back of head but i still feel the draft ,just wondering would the balaclava be a better option any suggestions on which makes, wife wont let me use her head knickers plus that single string bit running down the back of my head feels strange, but she calls them head thongs  ;D ;D

Aye, try the thermal ones. I find its the most comfortable material

All 6'4" and 25 Stone of me used to walk into my local bank wearing black leather boots, trousers, jacket and gloves, and a black helmet.
One day as I approached the counter the teller said quite clearly "Can you please remove your crash helmet,.. Mr Garratt".
I did,.... and as she saw the black balaclava underneath she muttered "Oh, I give up!" <LOL>
