I have had these Arashi disks on mine for about 6,000 miles now. They work fine, but the pulsing/vibration never quite goes away.

For anyone fitting these to their bike, please check that the ABS sensor is not rubbing against the new disk. I had to space my ABS sensor out half a mm, and I think Boomer had to do the same.

Martin.

Ditto for when I replaced on my 08 with EBC wavy discs

I did indeed have to space the ABS sensor out. 2 washers did the trick.
The only problem I have found with these Arashi disks is the low speed pulsing.
Below 5Mph the brakes pulse, I believe because the slots are too wide so the pads grab a little as a slot moves past.

Over 10k miles now and they look good and stop well.
ABS works fine and during my weekly emergency braking test I am still surprised at how fast this bike can stop!

I fitted Ferodo pads when I replaced the disks and am less impressed with those.
Have a set of EBC HHs waiting to be fitted.
