They've already been round my gaff, but they were in an electricity van   :mfr_lol:

I've just tried booking them through the number on the van for a job next week but they reckoned they were snowed under with work and couldn't fit me in till next March!  :mfr_lol:

I see hundreds every day in the right lane of the M25 doing 65 whilst on the phone, eating a sandwich and reading the Sun/Star.  :gun_bandana:
I do not undertake them, I simply pass them whilst doing 70Mph in the empty middle lane.
That reminds me, since the govt in their infinite wisdom  passed the new law against lane hogs,... is anyone going to enforce it? Or the phone law,.. or any of the other laws designed to try and keep the roads flowing? Nah, thought not.
Enough work on the M25 to keep 1000 officers busy full time!

Using a mobile phone whilst driving is one of my most hated crimes, it simply makes my blood boil  :hang: :hang:

I was nearly wiped out (on the bike) by just such a fcukwit only two days ago doing just that, I think he was actually texting whilst his phone was in his lap...if I had my way I'd dangle offenders by their privates from a tall mast in the town centre       :gun_bandana: :gun_bandana:

OC, in my day when I was on traffic I used to be extremely proactive, my focus was un-insured vehicles and believe me there are lots out there, mobile phone offences were like shelling peas, un-licensed drivers, drink drivers, drug drivers, the list is endless. All that's gone now though after the traffic cuts a few years ago, I understand most of our traffic guys and gals these days just tend to focus on accident investigation with preventative measures, i.e. traffic law enforcement being secondary.

I think up your way though and especially in North Yorkshire they are still keen as mustard and rightly so. I've only ever been stopped once by traffic in North Wales, a bike cop and the guy was very professional, polite and courteous and I had no issues with him stopping me. (Apparently I was going too slow!)  :mfr_lol: (I just thought I'd add that before you did).

Still keen as mustard here in Leicestershire.... having spent 17 years on the bikes I can vouch for that

My favourite 'day out' was in the city centre, seizing cars from uninsured drivers ...... no ANPR on bikes, and my record was 4 in a shift, purely on the ' he looks dodgy' train of thought

I do miss it now I've retired.... amazing how many people you see on the phone while driving, once you're not on a striped up FJR   :hammer:
