Mirror covers

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if the mirror covers are available as a spare part, or whole unit only? One of mine has a scratch, and the other has a broken clip which allows more movement on it than I am happy with. I have been looking at getting the lower nearside cowling sprayed and the paint alone costs an absolute fortune!!!

I think there was a thread on about this very recently. If memory serves me correctly the cover will come off and can be resprayed but then you say you have some damaged clips, so I think it'll be a new mirror for you. Perhaps get a cheap one from eBay and get that sprayed up.

Only a scratch you say... my right hand mirror has severe cracks and is held together by superglue after some cage driver 'wandered' closer to the nearside lane than I expected (but should have planned for)
