Anyone who's at a loose end on Saturday and fancies playing out I'll be at the TanHill Inn for midday Saturday 20th, drag yourself along, I hear on the grapevine it's going to be sunny.  :mfr_lol:

O.C.

If its owt like today it'll be more than 'sunny' Steve, I'm just back from Preston and thankfully I decided to take the car as it was 33 degrees on the M6

Yesterday I used the bike to go to Preston and the return journey was an almost unbearable 28 degrees

with regard to the Tan Hill invite its not likely I'll be there as I'm meeting up with Geoff and others at our usual Saturday meeting...

Have fun and enjoy the Tan

Jolly good idea LW. Any post fri night BBQ beverage will have long since dissipated by mid morning. See you at the RVP. :biker3:

Woud you believe it, it was actually a bit chilly today up on them there mountains. A few photos taken, some video and some cow dodging, strange but true. I'll stick some pics on soon.

As promised and I know I've been a bit slow posting these, fact is I've lost the pics I took on the day I've had to get these from the video so the quality isn't great.
Andy and I went up to Richmond to visit the Tan Hill Inn, it was quite busy there with some camping taking place behind the pub and plenty of walkers, bikers and the normal passing trade.
I lead the way up to the pub and to get some video I suggested Andy lead on the way back to Skipton.
As we left the pub we headed along this narrow road with the odd sheep scattered about and also to our surprise later on the odd cow! The pics are self explanatory but shown here to showcase the great scenery.

Plenty of sensible bikers........

And plenty of impatient bikers.........

Returning to Skipton

Before parting and going are separate ways. About 110 miles for me door to door, we were lucky with the weather, dry, but cool at the Inn.

Nice pics Steve, that's my kinda roads, the ones in the middle of nowhere that is, not the Skipton ones

Very nice pics!

But with reference to the 2nd picture, and it's probably a trick of the angle or something, but the bike seems to be close to stationary.... It seems awfully upright to be going around a hairpin bend....

:whistling:

Interesting that 2 of the 6 other bikes featuring in the pics are VFRs.  I noticed on my ride out this weekend that there are loads of them!  They must sell by the thousand, those things...  Can't see why though, look at that new VFR on the 6th pic - how comfy does the pillion NOT look?     Sooo glad I got a GTR and not one of those :)
