Isn't Mr Crutchlow doing well in MotoGp at the moment

He hasn't won a race...........................yet....the last Brit to win in premier class would have been good 'ol Baz back in 1981 (I think)

Not to do Crutchlow down or anything but he got pole in the wet on a track he knows well.
Looks like Lorenzo is out for this race and Pedrosa hates Assen and hates the wet, although the forecast for tomorrow is dry.
So tomorrow looks like Cal vs Marc with Dani & Vale as an outside chance.

Scott on the other hand is doing superbly and has a good chance at the Moto2 championship!

Errmm, qualifying was  dry George  :smartass:

Good luck to Scott and also Bradley who is doing much better than I ever thought he would in his rookie year

Was raining here so assumed it was wet there too.
Got to see it later on Friday evening and it was indeed dry.
Shame he couldn't follow through in the race.
He go beaten by 2 broken people (Lorenzo & Marquez) but it was good to see Vale on form again!

Yep good to see Vale up there again,      but one swallow doesn't make a summer

Lorenzo was an absolute hero under the circumstances, finishing in fifth place, and it was great to see Crutchlow in third place and on the rostrum again.

It was actually a good race for a change. Some of the recent ones have been a bit processional.
Lorenzo REALLY tired towards the end. The man is a masochist but in the end he only lost 2 points to the "Poison Dwarf" (that's my other half's' nickname for Pedrosa whom she hates with a vengeance! <LOL>)
As usual Moto2 was a much better race and Moto3 was excellent with Rins and Alex Marquez stuffing each other up for half the race.

Would be great if Stoner was racing this year as well. I thought Crutchlow was going to take Marquez. Was exciting stuff none the less. As for Lorenzo racing like that - he just went up in my estimation. He must be in pain now.
