Ok.Ok............ I admit it..................I've been a voyeur...............Over the last few years I've visited with out announcing myself................hidden  :ninja:  away in the back ground traffic of the site covertly gleaning your dirty secrets as you spill the beans between peers over the pain and pleasure of the forbidden fruit accessed through ownership of 1400GTR.

Warp factor 9 discs. Dodgy pannier security. Seized knobs. Flappy thing in. Flappy thing out. Pre 2010. Post 2010. Sub frame fracture. Oxidation.......................................I've been with you all the way...................But still you fail to put me off and keep all that pleasure for yourselves.

The final nail in the coffin was a weekend trip to cast my young thigh across that there throbbing motorcycle combined with a life changing event and my discovery of pictures of Mass Mastication within this site !!!!  Yes that's right Mass Mastication of Beer and Big Breakfasts on the 2012 Meet.  (Who did nick the Beer.....surely not that nice young lady glass collector?)

Enough of this waffle  :listencarefully:

:ohplease:  My I join in the fun @

Welcome along Charlie, I'm sure the 'bosses. will be along to greet you soon, too.

I find this forum, to be great fun with plenty of invaluable info.

So you've followed this forum for years and you still bought a green one..... Really?!?!  Didn't you fancy a quick one??

Charlie747

 :mfr_lol:

Thanks for the prompt welcome my friend...............I did wonder how long it would be before the dark side of the force made contact and tried to turn my head to the alleged prowess of THE BLACK ONES !!!!!

To protect myself from such temptation  :tank:  I've gone for the luckiest colour ................That would be Green and then reinforced it by ensuring the registration plate has that winning number 13 in it  :gun_bandana:

Many years ago when in the trade we used to tell the boys that out of the 2 colour options (red / blue) on a Suzuki AP50 the red ones were faster.............Why you ask.....................Well Fire engines are fast and they are red  :mfr_lol:

Trust my humour is acceptable as being a forum virgin would hate my 1st time to be my last time.

I personally found the open and frank discussion on site invaluable as an aid to making the purchasing decision .  I feel I know my baby (ref Debs) before purchase and have prior knowledge of short coming of the product.............The big thing is you all say 1400GTR = FUN .............and even though running in I'm grinning from ear to ear.

Yo' and welcome to the asylum Charlie, so you're a lurker are ya, well I suppose there are worse things to be in life....like being the owner of a GTR that isn't GREEN.

If you've lurked around here long enough and have paid attention you will no doubt be aware that I no longer have my stunning GREEN GTR, it was a decision based on practicality and personal requirements

You will be familiar with how helpful, friendly and enjoyable this forum can be and I've no doubt that you will also be able to participate in some of the friendly banter (read piss taking) that is such a highlight of this forum  :mfr_lol:

Alright boy. ( said in the finest s.lincs accent) a very poetic and witty introduction.  So, you're from Poland?  Good colour choice and I heard that about the red AP 50's. used to get thrashed on my fizzy by one all the time on the Lincolnshire roads where I grew up.  I take it you had a bike immediately before this one? Interesting to read that you got one despite all the faults you had spied ever read about first. Not sure if I would have.  Nonetheless, welcome mate and hope you enjoy it.

With a bit of planning, it might even happen this year.

Charlie, after the Schengen agreement on  cross border travel the Little Chef/border control at Guyhirn got turned in to a sex shop, but they still lift the bridge at Sutton Bridge, to stop more northerners crossing, when Hunstanton is full up!
