I've also had a Bandit, GS1000 and another ZZR

And a GT250, a Tiger955i and a GSX750..

Nearly forgot about the FZS600... these are all within the last three years as a returning biker after a 30 year gap due to a nasty accident when I was 19.

 ROG.. fine collection of bikes there   you won't let me have ago on the KH but don't blame you I won't refuse to let anyone ride my bikes :nono: p.s thought you got the touring version of the ltr versys and are you transferring your GTR plate over to the versys? also have you had your first service done yet on the big v?

 put the KH with mono shock, USD forks, swinging arm, pipes, e.t.c  brilliant classic back to standard  the way Mr KAWASAKI meant it to be  some things aren't meant to be messed with :nono: and defo get that tail tidy off  :2guns: :censored: :hammer:  :nono:

P.S love the old pic on your zzr1100 with a bit more hair :whistling:  just found a pic of me in 1977 on my Yamaha 250 so added it my post

First service and luggage fitment on Tuesday next week Dave, and yes, I'm in the process of transferring my cherished number over

The mono shock was a total special with ported 500 engine 34mm Mikuni carbs, sweet handling KH 400 frame, GSX front & rear end Ohlins front & rear and much much more, its was a quick bike that was stopped by the coppers at the TT for doing over 120mph (not with me riding tho')
BE KIND...

ROG .

O.C.

Hey Graeme, some loverly bikes there

Its incredible that so many of us have, over the years, had bikes that can often be very different to each other, which probably reflects how we were at the time

first service next week  because I remember you telling me you had done over 500 miles a few days after collecting the bike  I assume then.. your killing "two birds with one stone" and getting it serviced when your touring package comes in  to save you 2 trips to the dealers  I'm I right or I'm I right

I've had it for about two years now albeit it's been in the local workshop for the past year whilst they sort out the carbs and timing issues. I've had the original tank and side panels put on it now and will keep the one in the picture for spare. It's a 1975 M model by the way. Lots of noise and a lovely blue haze...

I started on a 1976 GT25A in blue followed by a 1978 RD400D in maroon before t-boning a lorry and landing on the opposite carriageway on the A127 May 2000 at 8.54am. After 9 weeks in hospital and another 8 in a full body cast, my mum was a bit upset so I promised her I wouldn't ride again. Then in 2010, about to turn 50, second divorce, second house gone, I thought wtf and bought a bike! Now I'm riding one almost every day and loving it and the camaraderie of the biking community...
