Quote from: Kevin on March 08, 2011, 08:46:06 AM<snip> I let my service receipts go with the bike but I'm pretty sure I pretty much always paid around £300 for my servicing, certainly it was more than £200. Given your experience I think I might give Dave Fox another try to see if the servicing there is as good but comparably priced to yours, and IIRC from the 1400GTR forum, some others experiences. SWMBO called Laguna and Dave Fox Motorcycles (DFM) for a price quote for the 3750 mile service. Laguna quoted £200, DFM quoted around £50 for the standard service incrementing if I have other work done. I've just come back from DFM having had the service done and I can't fault their service nor their prices - £113.22 for the service which included oil and filter, replace shaft oil and other work (he picked up a leak on one of the cooling hoses) and they lent me a bike FOC. This compares with the £134.78 that Laguna charged me for the first service which was only oil and filter. I was able to chat to the mechanic at DFM before and after the service and came away very happy. I shall definitely return.

I'm in NE at moment and I've booked a service with M&S who now have Newcastle Kawasaki dealership (Kawasaki Newcastle are now Honda...). Any comments on M&S good or bad? They appear to have a bit of a monopoly after the recent dealer closures in the North East (about 10?)
