A bitter sweet moment

Today I swap my gorgeous GTR for a Versys 1000, its a needs must move and one which will leave me with great memories of all the Motorway and Autobahn Blasts that my GTR has provided for us, also I'll remember the scratching around the twisties over many weekends in the Dales, Lakes and further afield with great riding companions.

It is a bitter sweet moment ~ and I'm not all dewie eyed about it, but the GTR is a truly awesome machine and in my book deserves to be right there at the top of the great all rounders in motorcycling machinery.

I'll miss the old girl, but will no doubt get to love the V1K in a different kind of way, as the new bike will be a much more suitable machine to accomodate my medical and physical requirements

I'll be bold and post some pictures of the new 'un soon, and I'll still be visiting this brilliant forum and enjoying the great company on here.
