Well after two 480 mile stints, 2 days ragging around france I can say Top Marks for Top Sellerie, money well spent.......

Bryn

That's a nice colour Ant      The seat looks so much better than the stock too

Most of you guys are talking about your own arse. My problem is that I am OK with the stock seat but my wife complains of slidingback and forth on the standard set up. Any views from a pillion view point? Thanks Chris.

ChrisB,

My wife had the same problem, bought a Tribo seat cover for the pillion seat.

She is very happy back there now

My Mrs is very happy with the Top Sellerie.... no sliding about ( just asked her to confirm)

Yesterday a mate with a Pan did a swap with us.... it has a corbin.... my other half hated it... sliding about all over the place....

I liked the TS seat from a riders perspective but as stated above my son slated it for constantly sliding forward, am taking the other half out on it today so will see what she thinks of it. Will post later.

:mfr_lol: So you're heavy on the brakes and/or your son suffers from the it-is-gross-to-touch-a-parent syndrome.
I don't think that any seat can cure one or the other.  :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol:
The later you brake the longer you go fast.

Thanks Bryn,

The Mrs likes the room she has, but yes, can slide a little under heavy braking. The tribo cover does the trick to sort that but then spoils the look of the seat, so working on that at the min.

BTW they also did the tank bag delivered, cheaper than anyone selling baglux here...

You can watch some footage on the tube, just put in Normandy trip pt3. Quality not brill on that camera as it was only 40 quid but better on the 50 quid camera facing forward     :mfr_lol:

Just sew the tribo cover to the back of her trousers.

Thanks for the tips. My Mrs puts it down to maybe the mixture of clothing she wears, cotton jeans under textile over suit causing her to move inside the suit. My answer was for her to pass her test and get her own bike, but not the answer she wanted. ha ha.

:mfr_lol: You could be right there Mecki...

Took the other half out on Sunday and she had no complaints, did over 100 miles and she wasn't sliding about as much as my son, saying that she is a bit heavier and the friction might have been a bit more to help keep her planted a bit better.

She did say that her  :asshole: was sore when we got home but that wasn't anything to do with me.

Still think I would use my sheepskin cover for long journeys though.

But definitely a great  improvement over the stock seat.

My 7000 mile ride in may convinced me that i need a new seat to. Do any of you have the gel option in your seats? Is it worth the extra?
