One puncture in six years but then I am extremely careful with my tyres and always ensure that I ride at the correct pressure's which will minimise punctures.

Talk about thread drift....

2Kwaks could at least reduce the size of that MONSTROSITY in his signature...  Just about every page of this GTR forum has a massive picture of a ZZR...

By the way, saw one exactly like that in my not-so-local Kwak deaker.  It too made my eyes bleed...

Ross, I can delete it for you if that's easier!  :whistling:

Boomer

Does he have a ZZR then? Who would have guessed. :rolleyes:
Soon you'll be telling me that 100Milesaway is 65 years old,... you know!
Perhaps we should change the forum to the ZZR1400R/K1600GT Appreciation Society?  :mfr_lol:

If you are getting lots of punctures, 2 things to avoid are;
1- Do not ride between lanes as the cars push the rubbish there, and avoid all hatched areas for the same reasons.
2- Avoid industrial estates, building sites, and such.

I'm just jealous and they wouldn't let me 'test ride' one for more than a 5Km circuit, something to do with weird Italian insurance.  Didn't bother in the end...

Punctures:  Fortunately never had one on a bike.  Don't know how safe I would feel with a repaired tyre either.  Ran over a screw in my car once at low speed and heard an ominous "sssSSSSSHHHHHhhhhhhhh...." and it was totally flat within about 6 seconds.  That would be scary on a bike!

The car tyre was repaired with a plug from the outside, however, and continued on until the end of it's natural life.
