Ok ... this has been some time in the coming but Whinny has been seen drying his Vermillion Red with a garden blower thingy wotsit .... " Hmmmm " I thought ...' A man like Whinny would not not do such things unless there was great merit in it" .... No wiping ? No drips ? No marks ? Just dry the bike and straight onto the polishing stage .. that sounds and looks good .... Asif ... look away now or you will start to feel giddy and ill .... another way to help keep the Gtr clean ....
And so it was to be .... large garden blowers not for me but a smaller and more compact version ... with HOT air too ... could be found, and here it is ... The ATOM Dryer.

Well Ladies and Gentlemen this is going to be one of those bits of kit that if you have never had one you won't know what all the fuss is about but when you do have one ... " How on earth did I manage without it " ???  Quality stuff .... feels good, nice and quiet with variable "blow" and you can have hot or cold .. or just warm etc ... but the POWER !! OMG .... I used it to "sweep" the garage out the other day .. all that shite out the front in about 30 seconds .... and drying the bike ? Well chaps and Debs it is going to save me an awful lot of time rinsing my old chamois and wiping off the smeary marks. This is quality and so far so good. "I recommend it to The House" ... as they say in The House of Commons ! :laugh

Looks good, do we get to know how much, where from etc?

Rusty

Sorry for leaving out the dets ... "Performance Motorcare" was the place I ordered it from .. initially, a few weeks ago they were out of stock so I left an E mail asking them to tell me when they were back in .. on the off chance they would actually read it .. and then out of the blue they called me and job done ..£137.

hi guys, got a earlux vac with a power take off plug fitted (this is for use in the workshop, plug your saw etc into the vac,an when you switch on it turns the vac on an will run for about 10 seconds longer when you shut off),it also has a blower facility too,to blast away saw dust etc,. After ive washthe bike i always use it,it gets all the drippers out of all the nooks n cranneys,,bout 5mins its completly bone dry!. it was about £95.00,,,so youve got a duel purpose bit of kit,               But just remember,,,,,, that if you have been picking up fine saw dust etc,,dont turn the bower on an aim at ya bike without running it for a few seconds TO CLEAR ALL THE DUST OUT OF THE HOSE!!!, like some dopey dick did,,,,,,,,duhhhhh :whistling:,
Start all over again was the word of the day :mfr_lol:

tapps

well rusty, they are very good,i've had one of those for about 9 months now,my only criticism is the hose could have been a little longer,i've attached a spare hose that came with a henry vacuum cleaner,it's doubled the length,it does what it says on the tin, heated air as well as cold.i probably spend about 10 minutes blowing the water off after rinsing the bike off, you'll be amazed at what a good job it'll do.

Boomer

You guys are obsessed with blow jobs.  :innocent:

I can think of better things to spend £137 on,....
but then I'm a rider not a polisher.  :biker3:

Ahh there you go Boomer .... you have to be a cleaner/polisher sort of person to appreciate this sort of stuff !
Yes silly money sometimes but it's going to last me out and I only have to buy it once ... Tapps ... that's good to hear, cheers mate.
