I ordered a custom cover from http://www.prestigemotorbikecovers.co.uk/
All I wanted was for it to cover the bike and topbox whilst it was parked at work.
The cover that arrived did not do this and was returned following a phone call to the company.

Sadly this was in December and still I have no replacement despite numerous phone calls, which go unreturned, to the company and the owner :2guns: "Scott Chisum"
So it looks like I have lost £80 and still had to go out and spend £55 on an Oxford cover.

If you or anyone you know are in the market for a bike cover or come to that a car cover for gods sake avoid http://www.prestigemotorbikecovers.co.uk/ and http://www.prestigecarcovers.co.uk/

Report them to your local Trading Standards.
Also worth informing MCN and other bike mags.
The least they could do would be a refund.

Unfortunately it seems to be the norm these days in the UK.
My experience of customer support in the UK is that it sucks.
Nobody ever returns calls when they say they will.
I am currently waiting for a call back from a supplier we just spent £10k with,... after chasing them twice.
Once they have your money you can  :censored: off and eat  :shit: seems to be the attitude.
It's one of the few things I believe that the Americans do way better than us.

If you paid by credit card then there's a possibility that you may be able to get some recourse through your credit card company ....just a thought

Pretty much what's been said above.

If you paid by Credit Card then get them onto. You can enforce a charge back which will end up hurting the supplier.

Dave am I reading this right that you returned the goods but still haven't got a refund?

On a different note there is a Kawasaki heavy duty and light duty custom cover for the GTR. I got a heavy duty one thrown in with my first GTR but later sold it to someone on here. These do cover the top box as well.

Sadly, it's not just the UK that seems to have a lot of  :shit: after-sales attitude. Oz is full of it as well. And I second the response that the US is far better for after-sales support.

I know this bit doesn't help but the BESTEST ever after sales service I have had was from Apple.
Dave .. if you paid by credit card you can get your money back.
Dave .. buy a K cover as Mr Wolf has suggested .. tailor made for the bike.
Dave .. Don't let the buggers get away with it and write to everyone and tell them about the shit service AND write to the company to tell them that's what you are doing ....  find them on FB or Twitter and leave negative feedback .. I can assure you things will happen almost instantly in relation to your £ coming back to you ! Good luck mate.
