Not the most exciting journey but it was 95 miles each way and I lost track of the numpties I encountered.

As it was a frosty start to the day I went by motorway / dual carriage ways but came home on a cross country route. In no particular order I came across:

Renault megane driver wanting to get into my top box and flashing lights incessantly when we are both in lane three and theres no where ahead of me to go other than into  the safety gap that Im keeping.

BMW driver who creeps past me (i was doing 70 in lane two)  and then pulls in front of me so close that I had to move out and pass him.

Bmw driver who was intent on undertaking me on a slip road..... once I could see that lane one was clear to move in to the bike's laceration soon left the beemer a safe distance behind me.

Numerous lane drifters on mobile phones

and a couple of box vans making sudden lane swaps without signals ..one of them on his phone at the same time.

A fed ex van clearly with an urgent delivery pulled out of a side  road in front of me and obviously didn't look

A young lady driver who got out of her car at the front of a the Q at red traffic lights on the Chester ring road to lift her bonnet and fill up the washer bottle!

And  finally the pheasant who wanted a close look at my tall screen...... fortunately his swoop didnt get quiet low enough but he was close!

Other than  that the bike had no issues at the dealer, I enjoyed the ride but as it was a cold cold day  I need to look into  those wind deflectors.

Hi Patrick,

For a moment there I though you were describing the drivers in my area, then I realised that you guys are a long way from where I live, seems that dopey drivers are everywhere.

Cheers

Glad to hear that despite all the efforts of others to unseat you that you got back safe and sound Patrick...albeit with, no doubt, a severely lightened wallet

Nice to see you out in this cold weather ! Left my bike at work last week .. Just couldn't ride it home on a Thursday evening rush hour in temperatures of -1.

Had my first ride of the year a couple of days ago, enjoyed it as short as it was but it was too bloody cold.
