Its a lot of money for what it is. There is a chemical that is readily available at any plumbers shop which weaken that in seconds and allow you to hit the lock and remove it as with any lock.

However, if you are not using a chain to anchor the bike, a disk lock is harder to remove then a chain due to the chain being on the floor giving it a hard surface to hit against once said chemical is applied

Very good point - I'll save my cash

:agree: with trousersnake01  too bloody expensive for what it is  if you need to leave your bike your better off with a big sod off chain with a protective sleeve so not to damaged your wheels. and just use a normal disc lock, but don't forget to use a disc lock reminder  they're only a few quid and attach to the lock then your handel bar and are a really bright colour so very visible, know of a few who have forgot the disc lock was on and wrecked the mudgaurd or have gone "arse over tit" when they have pulled away in a hurry  which then, makes you look a right  "knobber" :mfr_lol:
getting on now...  but not as old as Rog or Geoff

When using a chain to lock the bike up, its a good plan if possible to arrange it so the lock and chain don't reach the floor.

Make's it harder to break off.
