Rather disappointingly I didnt get out on the bike until about 3:30 with strict instructions to ger back no later than 6pm for my tea. I had a quick run out to Tadcaster, near York and then returned home via Rodley where I took a quick detour down to the canal. No nothing like that....I just like the canal, quite a peaceful location.

Took a quick pic or two down by the canal. A Springer Spaniel enjoying a dip.

Couple of the GTR..

Colder than it looked as well. Had to put the heated grips on and thaw out my mits.  :o

I did Mr Wolf ... I did get up "early" ... met up with some old work mates at half 9 ( that IS early ) and had a fat boys fry up close by and then out into central Sussex, Crawley Down, Box Hill, Rusper.. all sort of West/Central Sussex ... about 3 hours worth with a bit of coffee chucked in for good measure ... grips on too ..dry but chilly .. sadly no photos but I shall make sure next time I am out, not commuting , that I take a camera with me. 340 miles on the clock already .... Christ, I may have to wash it again !!!!

I says to the missus I'm off out on the bike. She packed me off to Sainsburys with the kids to do the shopping  :'(

Not on the bike.....I was out at side of the pool....abroad......contented....27c

This comes a close second place to mucking around on the bike ::)
It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Rusty

Come on then Fatharry .. tell us all where you are .. not that we are jealous !!

Yeah , come home from Girl friends in Plymouth. Great run up & down that road. Good un twisty from Coast to coast , from South to North Devon & all along West side Dartmoor. Do the route regular, still not board of it. Good reason not to dump her ......yet ! Mind she may dump me first...never though about that...dam !

Well if she does just go down there and do her mate.............

I did the 55  miles from home to Rhyl Firestation -  the senic route through Ruthin, Denbgih and St Aspaph to attend the North Wales Bikesafe's  Fbos (1st bike on scene) Course.

"FBoS (First Bike on Scene) This is a first aid course designed by the Northwest Ambulance Service specifically for motorcyclists. FBoS is our chosen first aid partner. The course is approved and certificated by The Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. The Certificate of Competency is valid for two years from completion of the course. The course teaches relevant skills such as collision scene management, casualty log roll and helmet removal.  FBoS has been running for over 5 years now and has trained many people across the whole country giving them the skills and confidence to deal with an instance where someone has been involved in a bike crash."

I couldnt believe that I met up with the bike instructor who took me through CBT and Direct Access 10 years ago.

I then came home the scenice route but the sun was deceptive and after about 20 miles  i needed to swap to winter gloves!

....... blatant picture whoring as I had a whale of a time, and I did get out (though not on the GTR) on 6th March per thread title ....  ;D

Portimao circuit on the Algarve, with balmy 15 degree sunshine and a refreshingly empty track. What a fine way to spend a long weekend, scare myself silly (186mph on the speedo after a particularly good run onto the start/finish straight) and abuse the credit card in one easy activity .....

Still buzzing two days later, and had to share  :-[

Martin.
65,000 miles now. Loving this bike.
