Ooh did someone mention Rukka!

The gear is superb - defo something to aspire to. After graduating from the budget gear through the medium quality to high end HG goretex I can say that the Arma S or Argonaut jacket will be next. It's just they're o damn expensive!

My 2 year old £500 goretex pro-shell trousers have just started leaking at the "critical-area".  :mfr_lol:
HG have taken em in and are looking at them. Reckon they'll replace so can't complain.

Maybe I'm not meant to cross the chasm between Rukka and the rest of the world - at least I've got me gloves!

At those prices I'll stay mildly damp!  :undecided:      ......... or was that mildew and damp

When you've spent all that money on such high quality kit, you can't risk it getting wet or damaged!!  :mfr_lol:
Me, I'll stick with what fits and if it stays waterproof, so much the better.
When I win the Lottery I may buy something more $$$$ but even then it will have to fit me!

No I would not buy Rukka kit, £1000 for a jacket no matter how good it is to my mind is extortion :ohplease:

:agree: A thousand quid for a jacket  it'd have to be very very good, but then I've never tried it so I wouldn't know, even though I did once own a GS  :mfr_lol:

My HG gear has served me well, even in the worst conditions that I would ever choose to ride in, I've always stayed warm and dry

Whilst on the topic of bike gear I wear a lovely leather 60s style Black Stefano jacket and black leather jeans when I'm riding a classic bike....and before anyone says owt....NO......its not the gay type of clothing,   :mfr_lol:

The point is that they are brilliant if it doesn't rain when they get very wet and very very heavy, but its all in the cause  :mfr_lol:

BTW, I bought a Belstaff jacket on e-bay a year or so ago for riding on my off road bikes (which I no longer own) actually its a bloody good jacket with loads of pockets and is warm and dry,  second hand it cost me £65.00 delivered.

What price warm dry hands on a miserable wet 165 mile ride back to work eh. As I get older the simple pleasures are appreciated more!

Just compared my R**a gloves to my old HG's whist getting gear ready for tomorrow. What was I thinking - should have bought em years ago.

Trouble is the "R" jacket would prob outlive my riding days -  especially if I keep it hung up in garage :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol: only kidding - I'll be on 2 wheels for ages yet!
