I just took delivery of a complete new locking mechanism that Givi sent me for free as per my above post...   

Care to take a Picture and share... I too.. Also worries about my top box flying off... Thus drilling a couple of holes and cable-tie it to the Base Plate as a precaution.

These parts were for the lock rather than the part that attatches it to the frame.

My point was that it would be worth speaking to them if you have some defective or worn parts because they may get them to you for free too.

I'll take some pics, but won't be until at least tomorrow night...

Gotta go to bed now and then drive to France and back tomorrow...
