Rode to work this morning with minus 3 showing....Getting a bit chilly, almost had my grips turned up to 3/4 heat.

What's your saying ?

Essex Boy.

Bumpkin

Haven't got round to resetting mine yet, but I was showing 23 Farenheit at one point, so -5 celcius - twas a tad nippy...

Don't understand bikes going away for the winter..!

Anyone gone colder than -5 today ?

Andrew-MP

Can't beat that, only -4 for me.  Had to break the ice off the seat though and the key wouldn't open the panniers till I got rid of the ice in the lock!!

SirToU

Had -4 last night.  Lock on the top box froze! And -3 on way to NEC today.

Yep, same here, and was quite the shock after being in Cairo last week at 22C

Winter is officially here. Long live Gerbings heated kit.

Martin.
65,000 miles now. Loving this bike.

Gonome

Ride to the NEC yesterday convinced me I needed new winter gloves. Got a good deal and hands nice and toasty on the way home. Sorted.
Better to be old and grey than the alternative!

Essex Boy

Essex A12 this morning on my ride into the city was -5.

mecki

Don't know since the roads are so slippery around here that I don't dare to let the beast out.
The later you brake the longer you go fast.

Boomer

Be careful out there people.
I saw a bike get slow-motion side-swiped by an out of control sliding car this morning.
Biker managed to not go down but has a bruised shin and needed new undies.  :shit:
In weather like this the numpty-moron-faqwits are out of their depth.
