well if 4 wheels count, then its a new addition to my stable! I have a renault scenic 1.9 dci privilage plus which I bought new in 2001, its only coverd 44,000 miles and dam near as good as the day I got it. its never let me down, so had no intentions of selling it. but have been bullied into swapping the scenic for my daughters punto! well am going to be a grandad in june, and she wanted a bigger car, but she did not have any money to add if she p/x her punto, and she would have ended up with a load of crap for the same money! so she and her mum gang up on me till I gave in and agreed to swap for her punto! but its not all sad news, am going to sell her punto privately. and have just orderd a new ford focus titanium in steel grey. picking it up on on friday, this is nearly as exciting as when I collected my gtr1400. really! where just big kids, aren"t we! ;D

good  luck with the new car.

I've had 4 brand new Co Cars in the past 10 years  but the anticipation of a new bike far out weighs the car.

My GTR was an hour late beign delivered and i was pacing the drive!!

Ford's are good cars these days and very reliable generally. Parts are pretty cheap too. I've got the Mondeo Titanium X with all the toys, its a big beast but nice to drive.

did try for the mondeo titanium but the wife put her foot down. on my head! because I went on about it! dam nice car the mondeo thats for sure. dam expensive as well! may have got the titanium x mondeo if I had not bought the gtr in september, but did not know I was going to swap my faithfull scenic then for a punto :o well you can not have everthing I suppose, but might as well dam try ;) over years I like most of us have spent thousands on cars. my scenic cost £16,727.00 in 2001 it was the top of the range with all the toys, bought it to tow my touring caravan which it did all over the dam place with ease, allways wounderd why some people call the renault for being unreliable. had mine 10 years all I have done is change the oil and filter every year, replaced the fuel filter once! fitted new cambelt at 6 years old, fitted a new battery when it was 8 years old, fitted new tyres at 22,000 miles and just again at 43,000 miles. it never let me down once. its even on the original discs and pads and it towed a 23ft caravan for 5 years covering most of the mileage it as done. thats why I kept it so long, anyway passed it on to my daughter now, I expecting it to last her another 10 years if she looks after it. I was going to buy the new 2011 model focus titainum "the new shaped one" but it was £19,000 so bought a new older shaped focus got a dam good bargain with the new shape focus now hitting the showrooms, plus got my dad to get me a ford employee new sales discount voucher. so dam happy with the deal I got on the focus titanium which will be on the new 11 reg! that should wind some of the neighbours up ;D

Nice one 2Kwacks ... the Mondeo is indeed a lovely car ... a good friend at work has one, a few months old now and it is really nice, I am sure it wont disappoint you !
I have a Y reg Renault Laguna, only 65000 miles from new in 2001 so 10 years old now, and like you, oils and filters and pads and that's about it ... but what would I change it for ?? You know I am not quite sure !
