Sorry guys, more questions  :whistling:
Have tried to attach an image of the sat Nav Mount on my bike.
Anyone know what make it is?
Looking at getting a waterproof cover for my Navman F45 and would like to know if the one I have my eye on will fit or if I will need to be creative

ive saved your image to make it smaller so i can see, the sat nav holder in question is the original kawasaki after market one for the gtr, most sat navs will have a holder which bolts to this .

the reason your picture and most other users pictures are so big is that they are too large on your camera for most forums, you need to down size the pixels to approx 600 x 800, change your camera resolution to about 1million pixels or upload your pics onto a photobucket account which will downsize auto for you, there are very few users who post pics on here that can be seen properly , most i have to down load , which i dont like to do, there is a tutorial on this

your pic was 2500 pixels by 1500 pixels , hope this helps

admin, have you considered blocking pics that are bigger than a certain size, this will help users learn to downsize their pics, two other forums i go on will not allow pics over 800 pixels wide ??

Sorry Viper (and anyone else who was overloaded by my pic - now edited).
Have resized after learning how to do so.
Might be a good idea to block large images from being uploaded by donkies like me
Thanks for the reply mate.

Why not just upload all your pictures on photobucket, then you link to here, and no need to resize them... been doing it on forums for years

Cheers kfshman,
I can see from your link and the image that I have the main metal plate but I don't have the plastic interface that sits on top of it which receives the sat Nav. Do you know where I can get something that will fit the plate and provide a ball knuckle for me to mount my sat nav on?
Cheers

I think that one's designed to bolt the  satnav cradle straight to the plate .... similar to one I had on the Explorer.... the holes on the plate should line up with holes on the back of the cradle?

If you want to ram mount it with a ball you could go for one of these

http://www.ram-mount.co.uk/1-ball-with-an-integral-hex-nut-threaded-steel-bolt-p-1282-c-238_286.html

Bolted straight through the top cap nut..... i've used liquid metal to secure a nut underneath the cap, and screwed the ram ball down into it... then a 2" ram arm on top to mount to my 660 Zumo

There are a number of mounting holes on the Kawasaki Sat Nav mount plate designed to allow the fitment of different types of docking/charge mountings, the Kawasaki plate will accept both Tom Tom and Garmin docking/charging mountings.

Seen here with Garmin mount

and here with Tom Tom on the same plate

you need the correct  cradle to accept the satnav, cant do it with out , are you trying to use a car one ?

Sharpy

Thanks for replies and taking the time to post images.
I'm thinking of getting an all weather case for my Navman F45 (car).
Looks like I need to get a RAM ball mount. I've sent the guy selling the case an email asking for the size of the ball on the back.....I think he's oriental and we're having a few language problems
