I. In Stockholm and at a dealer here today i found a bags connections tank bag. They say it will fitt my GTR but im not sure.

This is the "trial" bag and its listed as it will fit but the bag i found is a "trial ql" and cant find any refrences to this.

Sorry for the doubble listing, here and in general but leaving town tomorrow and would like to get it before i leave if it will fit.

I would guess that the "QL" means Quick Lock
So Trail and Trail Ql are the same bag.

Make sure to buy the fitting to mount the bag.

I had one of these from my last bike and it fitted the GTR but was too close to the back of the tank for my liking. You have to seat it well back because of the shape of the bag. In the end I sold it and fitted one of the GIVI Tanklock bags which was bigger and also had a flatter base. That seems to fit really well and they are slightly cheaper so worth a look.

How much storage do you folks need?? Me and the missus did three weeks with just the panniers and std. top case...

Ok, we didn't stray too far from a washing machine, but hey... A tank bag as well?   :mfr_lol: :whistling:

Tank bag great for 'bits' - passports, camera, wallet etc.

I like stuff like that to hand.

Easy to take off when parking up going a coffee or the like.

Aye. All the little bits that i bring with me when leaving the bike. When im on a two week camping trip i need the room.
I also use it when i go to work. My stuff barly fits in the other bags. I work on a oilrig and need to bring all my gear with me each time

Here is my Givi tanklock bag

The bag part of the lock is adjustable fore and aft to suit riders belly size.
Only down side is it masks the satnav when on the Kawasaki mount.

I'v always used bagster with all my bikes so decided to go down that route with the gtr as well  the tank covers protect the tank from scratchers/dents and prevent paint tarnishing, also find the medium size minear tank bag is just the right size and dose not get in the way. the minear bag is 12ltr unexpanded and 21ltr expanded. I find that at the unexpanded 12ltrs is more than enough room for my needs. leaving the panniers and top box free for the larger items

getting on now...  but not as old as Rog or Geoff

I have to say 2kwacks, that looks great!  Unfortunately I have the green bike which looks too good to hide under a bagster  :punk:

I guess perfection must keep searching
