Hi another windscreen enquiry my 2011 model has a screen approximately 19" long and being 6' 1" I am getting a lot of wind noise and buffeting. What is the best solution a laminar lip or another screen.  Also who does the best pillion foot peg lowering kit for this bike. Thanks in advance. Peter

Gonome

Peter, you will probably get a different answer from everyone on here, but my preference is a Calsci XL screen. I am 6' 2" and have handlebar risers which give a more upright seating position.
Better to be old and grey than the alternative!

Peter, as gonome has said there will be individual preferences about which screen etc.,

It's a commonly asked question, and TBH everyone who has made 'modifications' will have their own view..

I personally am happy with the Laminar Lip that I have fitted...I'm m6' 1" and use a slightly lower Gel seat

This was my choice

Pic#2 shows the difference from stock to MRA - smoked/colored....

By the way.... pic# 3 - it displayed with the Philips Diamond Vision H4 5000K - standard  60/55W  :punk:
Fantastic light......

At 5'9" I've got the Calsci large fitted, and it is excellent  !

A refreshing change from being buffeted about on 'adventure bikes'    :biker3:

+1 for the laminar lip on a standard high screen (which yours should have already on a 2011 model.) I'm 6ft and use the standard seat. The GTR is a bit noisy compared to some tourers but for me the airflow is smooth wherever the screen is set.

As for lowered footpegs, have a look at projektd.com They work really well for me. You can also fit the rubber topped pillion foot pegs from an ER6 for better grip for your pillion, they're a straight swap. Best bought second hand though cos they're about £90 a pair new.
