Somehow this reminds me of Roman gladiators. 
It was a sign of a decadent society then and looks like we're heading that way too.

Been watching that stuff for years.
I became a Joey fan years back and followed his exploits in the Ulster GP, NW200, and many of the smaller races in Northern Ireland and in mainland Europe right up until he hit that tree in Talinn in 2000.
Yes, it's exciting and yes the riders are all certifiable and yes I'd love to have a go.
