How much room is there under the fairings ?

Im going to fit some HID's before winter comes on as I commute 24hrs in all weathers. I find the main beam good but dipped poor compared to the HID I had on the CBF, (they were marvellous)

What I need to know as I havent taken the beast apart yet, how much room have I got to fix the ballast units in the side fairings ?

Last time on the CBF, I cable tied them to the inside of the indicator lenses, they come with loads of wire so will reach to the light clusters ok.

I can't answer your question but when someone does I also want to know, I like the idea of HID lights as well.

I think Asif will be better qualified to answer this question as he had a horn mod concealed under his fairing. I haven't taken the fairing off the new GTR yet.
