possible recall of bikes update

On the subject of the recall for rear brake rod, has anyone who has had the recall effected experienced the rear brake light sticking on 

Mine was sticking continuously whilst in France this last week, and would only return back to 'normal' with a bit of persuasion from my right foot, it almost caused a mate to ride into the back of my bike 

The rear brake light wasn't sticking before the recall and didn't seem to be improved by the use of some oil around the linkage. I'll be taking a look this weekend and may have to adjust the linkage

Its worth checking yours as this really is a potential safety hazard
