I have everything removed on the right hand side but don't have a 14mm Allen key to wind the main shaft out which goes through the wheel from the left hand side, do I take it unscrews or can simply be tapped out gently?

Thanks

just tapps out, allen key not needed, protect the thread tho maybe with the castle nut

BigAlan

Is the correct answer, thanks, all out and ready for new PR3 tomorrow.

Now all I need it the torque setting for the nut.

Alan, the rear wheel is torqued to 94 foot lbs. However you may have to do it slightly under that in order to get the new cotter pin to fit through the slots in the castle nut. This is perfectly normal and wont be an issue.

Thanks, I prefer the old foot pounds measurement rather than the new fancy dan Newton metres.

Tyre change sat am then back on with skinned knuckles i suspect.
