I have a tiny but very annoying problem!!!! When i drive and the revs comes up from 2800 Rpm to 3800 Rpm i hear a squeaky sound from the speedometer after 3800 nothing!!!! It's not serious of cource but is very very annoying because i drive at these revs all the time!
Has anybody an Idea what is this??? Thanks in advance !!!

are you sure the squeaking is coming from the speedo? have you checked your brake rotor discs. the rivets may be worn, which can cause the brakes to squeak, also check your wheel bearings if ok .. this sounds like something that will disappear as fast as it appeared, untill then.. either get a louder exhaust or better ear plugs
getting on now...  but not as old as Rog or Geoff

I would be checking the anti rattle plates on the front pads. and while your at it, give the calipers a good clean with some brake cleaner and copper grease the pad pins. rattling sound is not a squeeky sound! have a good look around the front end. make sure nothing loose and rubbing.

- personally , whilst on the move , cannot hear a thing under the full-face , balaclava + ear plugs.

- am constantly surprised that owners can hear squeaks/rattles/etc , whilst riding. Maybe with an open face helmet and no ear plugs ?
