Chaps, has anyone managed to get under the power socket on the dash to run a feed from at the front.
Or does anyone know of some aux power at the front. I don't want to be feeding one through from the back.

No need. There's accessory leads in the boot under the left fairing.

Fantastic, how would I recognise them, and how easy is it to get the fairing off, I need a manual me thinks.

you dont need to remove any bodywork...the two aux cables are tucked away inside the rubber boot which is located on the left by the fork leg top

They are a bit fiddly to get at if you possess large mits  :mfr_lol:

Ahhh blinding, I'm going to have a look now.

It's much easier though if you do take the nearside fairing off. It's only a ten minute job.

Well that was easy, found them wires straight away although being used for heated grips. I just tagged on to the wires for grips to run my GPS and had them both on together and the fuse never blew which was good so thanks for your help, very painless.

I ran a triple harness from mine and ran grips, sat-nav and Cruise Control off it - no problems

When I change my grips, I will take the side off and tidy it all up, who ever fitted the last grips has left it all a bit untidy.

Its handy that Kawasaki provide Aux power on the GTR....I just wish that they would use slightly longer leads, as the ones fitted are never easy to work with,

No Bother at all here it is,  but note that I have fitted a couple of extension leads to mine to make it more user friendly

Hope this helps
