I could keep up with Dave :biker3: and you, well you were just protecting the rear :whistling:

"Here we go ... Steve's leading, might as we settle down and have a snooze ... wonder if I can spot some pink cars to keep me awake ... yaawn ... oh dear ... what was that, did steve speed up then? No just my imagination ... not a pink car but definitely a blonde pink driver ... hey, whats going on, daves taken over as he's going at speed ... wtf, steve's speeded up, am I dreaming? ... yawn, they've settled down again, these old folk, they're like sunday riders ... that lass at the coffee house was damn hot and all these two yap on about is retirement ... i have to make this interesting, i'll just pull back and speed up ... wtf another comfort break? is this what old age does to you ..."

My recollection was that I led the way from the Lower Lode to the village of Lower Slaughter. You may recall the coach in front of me which was being driven furiously by some bafoon, cutting corners like they were going out of fashion and kicking up lots of shit in the process. Sensible option, hold back but still ride progressively where appropriate and possible. At Lower Slaughter you got hung up on that waiter chap in the coffee house and he knocked you back, (we both saw you winking at him)  .
Lower Slaughter to the motorway we made good progress, (me leading), I even recall you complimenting me on my riding. By prior agreement, upon joining the motorway Dave was to lead, and together the two matching magnesium GTR's cut through the traffic like surgeons carving a path for the followers, (you) to try to keep up.
Come on Dave, back me up.  :mfr_lol:

They say you should adjust shock to rider sag roughly 35 mm  ,put bike on centre stand and measure from a fixed point like axle nut to a point on the rear fairing.then put bike on side stand and measure same two points again this will give you static sag 5 to 10 mm ,then sit on bike with as much of your weight off the ground and get a friend to measure same two points this will give you fully loaded ,now subtract the fully loaded measurment from  the first fully unloaded measurment this will give you the rider sag which should be roughly 35 mm.the rebound adjuster screw is for setting how quickly the suspension returns after been compressed, too soft you get a bouncy ride too hard and you get bumped out of the seat, the rebound adjustment is a personal setting.Front shocks rider sag can be anywhere from 35 to 48 mm rider sag personal prefernce as to how you wish to ride.
