The warranty is defo transferrable, BUT to keep the warranty valid you must have the bike serviced by a Kawa, dealer at the specified times/mileages!!  So those of you that only do a few thousand miles will still have to pay £60 an hr for a 17yr old trainee to maybe carry out the service schedule dictated by time, ergo you may have to pay for a major service because of the length of time since the last service even though you may only have done 2000 miles. Like someone before stated, underwrite your own repairs with the money saved by doing your own servicing or by a trusted competent friend or a non-franchised "trusted" dealer.

My bike is still within the initial 2 year warranty but without a shadow of a doubt I will be spending £350 to buy the extended warranty. Piece of mind is priceless.

Hmm... funny! That costs about £230 in DK! (ie. extended warranty +2 years)
Cheers,

Coman....... I heard that the definition of a cynic is "someone who knows the price of everything, and the value of nothing"....so I don't think that you qualify as a cynic
