fitted tank bracket in 5 mins, bag clips on and off in under one second. seems very secure and a good size it can also be extended to 24 ltrs.the bag at the front of the tankbag is a rain cover! the last pic shows the top view, it is see through for a map e.t.c and also as a cut out for a sat nav and elec lead! and various pockets and zip pockets. it also clears the handle bars on both full locks. the bracket under the bag is adjustable by 3 settings, I left mine on the default setting which is in the middel position, and theres no problem with it catching on the handle bars when on full lock! for £104.00 deliverd including tank bracket, I think its a bargain and will do the job nicely. any one interested in buying one! here is the link.

:o How bloody posh is your garage??

It definately looks the business. I'll cetainly give some consideration to that for my trip, I suppose you cant go wrong at that price.

Like it !  That looks really good. A few years ago I had a tank bag for a short time but no matter what measures I took it would always mark the tank .. not so much scratching it but just like smudge marks and it wore some paint off... never again, but I see that sits proud off the tank, and I like the Sat Nav hole .. little touches like that are very good ....

its designed so even when full, its dose not touch the tank. the underneath is made from hard plastic so hovers over the tank!

theres seems plenty of alternatives around instead of the bagster route! have got a bagster cover and bag on my zzr1400, which is fine. but the bagster tank cover did not fit the gtr1400 2010 model very well, it had to much excess on the front top which was to much to loose even when allowing for the normal skinking thats supposed to happen! also heard the bagster bag catches the handle bars on full lock on the gtr1400, so decided to go down the givi route!

As good as the Bagster tank covers are, the GTR is a bike that you dont want to really hide by covering up its bodywork. I like both options above. It makes sense I think for me to go for one of the above options now that I have seen them rather than the more expensve Bagster option. The delivery time from Chainspeed seemed extremely good as well.
