Simple one this, I'm going to do an oil change on the bike, should you use semi synthetic or fully synthetic. I have a feeling that if you took it to a dealer they would use semi considering the price, any advice, pro's and cons greatly appreciated.

It used to be the case that using fully synthetic could increase the odds of clutch slip, would that be the case with the GTR?

Dealers will definitely use semi, I have had two bikes (both Kwaks) exhibit clutch slip on full synthetic, I would not even chance fully synth in a bike any more.

Martin, many thanks for that answer.

I'd be inclined to stick with semi as well. The brand cam make a difference

I bought some MOTUL 10w 40 engine oil which the shop recommended and some Castrol GL5 oil for the shaft. I'll do it when I'm off next week for a few days.

Thanks for the info.
