well it's a bit of a long story  but here goes's..! when I collected my "best colour" magnesium  from the dealer, I went over it with a fine toothcombe. however, in my defence they brought it to the front of the shop and it had just started to rain so did not noticed there was a airline crack just under the bolt that secures the cowling that houses the heated grips and the glove box. I only noticed this the next day when I was wiping the bike down, some heavy handed monkey most likely one of thoses spottie apprentices must have overtightened the bolt when fitting. anyway it was hardly noticeable and I did not buy the gtr locally and felt a bit of a cheeky sod asking the local dealer to replace it, when I pointed out to him he was a tight sod for not matching the deal. so decided to leave it, but last week I noticed the airline crack had decided to airline the other way as well  well I was well miffed and thought :shit: so phoned Mr kawasaki and told them the story and was ready to tell them just what I thought of them just incase they tried  to "fob me off" due to it being 15 months ago so was :sweatdrop:ing a bit  but guess what..! the very nice man on the phone replied no problem sir, we will send a new part to your local kawasaki dealer who will give you a call when it arrives and arange a convenient time with yourself to be fitted. this of course sir, is under warranty. and he also added, may I take this opportunity to apologize on behalf of the dealer and to say thank for choosing kawasaki. I was called buy the dealer the same day to advise me kawasaki as authorised the fittment and replacement part and 2 days later phoned to say the part had arrived and they could fit the part the next day which I said  to "well that will ding dang do for me..! now I'm as happy as a pig in :shit: again

One thing we know for sure is the magnesium is the slowest colour cause LW has one  :mfr_lol:

Black is definitely the fastest. The blues and greens can only aspire to be black.

Lets not forget I can achieve 65.5 mpg on my GTR. :mfr_lol:

:biker3:

And lets not forget those chicken strips on my machine, or should I say lack of, if I remember correctly yours were wider than the tyres themselves.

:whistling:

Kwikasfuki

Ahem.

The 65.5mpg is conclusive evidence of the magnesium being the slowest colour

As for the chicken strips I have no idea what you're on about  :whistling:

5mm chicken strip is exceptable in my book  anything less and your dam close to the tyres limit :sweatdrop: and then you could end up with a gravel strip  besides, what's chicken strips got to do with the kawasaki warranty  don't think kawasaki would agree to have the gravel stip removed from the paint finish if the gtr was to slide down the road for a few hundred yards..!
