Thank  :single fuck: I hear you cry.   :surrender:

Thank you all verymuch. It has been really good for me (if,clearly not always for you).  I can now drive with bearable shoulder pain ( thank God for power steering) and lift a bag of sugar.

Legs so much improved that I was able to swing one over a bike recently. So, I can look forward to riding again before too long.

The writing and reading of posts has been very therapeutic. Thank you for, in the main, your goodwill and friendly forbearance.

I wish you all the best of fun but uneventful riding  on your great steeds and leave you this as a farewell gift.

Ed Zachary Disease
A woman was very distraught at the fact that she had not had a date or any sex in quite some time.  She was afraid she might have something wrong with her, so she decided to seek the medical expertise of a sex therapist. Her doctor recommended that she see the well known Chinese sex therapist Dr. Chang.

So she went to see him. Upon entering the examination room Dr. Chang said 'OK take off all your crose.'
The woman did as she was told.
'Now get down and craw reery, reery fass to odderside of room..'
Again the woman did as she was instructed.
Dr. Chang then said 'OK, now craw reery, reery fass back to me.'
So she did.
Dr.Chang shook his head slowly and said 'Your probrem vewy bad. You haf Ed Zachary diease.
Worse case I ever see. Dat why you not haf sex or dates.'
Worried the woman asked anxiously 'Oh my God Dr.Chang what is Ed Zachary Disease ?'
Dr. Chang sighed deeply and replied 'Ed Zachary Disease is when your face rook Ed Zachary rike your arse.'

f you have already heard it

Woh steady on Mr Nok. We dont want you coming up to gods country, and putting big holes in our dry stone walls :mfr_lol: Leave it a few months till you've got your confidence back, and taken the stablizers off. :whistling: :mfr_lol:

:mfr_lol: quite so Mr 100 Miles.   I have to survive France first. :sweatdrop:
Which side do you ride on up there? It's only of academic interest  :biker3: :mfr_lol:

Stabilisers? The nice Doctor offered me stabilisers but I held off.  From my posts you can clearly see they were/are not required

Thank you Mr olde coney, Sir, for the advice (instruction?).   :mfr_lol:   I have now joined said forum but will need to be gently weaned of this great one.

Shock horror  :sweatdrop: :sweatdrop: I discover on that forum ( K12GT/K13GT,) many bad experiences of electrical and mechanical failures; as we have said, in so many words, it's industry endemic nowadays.  Maybe the bikes are too sophisticated ...unlike those who build them

It was advice...and yes.. there's plenty problems, even with BMW products.

Thank you Mr Olde Coney;  I have already found some very useful information on that site including a private mechanic recommendation (for my K12rs) from a Yorkshire expat languishing down here.   :mfr_lol:

I think I will recommend this site to him for a taste of the homeland.

Best
