Check out the Lake District National Park house price scale.... which has just been reported to be one of only a handful within the U.K where prices are still rising....its great for us living here, but not so good for those wishing to move into the area

Well of course there are pockets of such exceptional beauty and scarcity of available property that they will buck the trend.

That's why you get so many caravans.  They really want to stay on.

However, if there is not in general a North South property price divide - so be it. I'll have to save up for a garage in London  :mfr_lol:
Just because many do it does not make it right. Just because many think it does not make it true.

Noks ... many years ago I went round to see my brother and he had his new Ducati in the lounge ! Wheeled it around the back and in through the patio doors ... the then Mrs Cooper divoced him a short time later  True I swear !

Nok12rs

Rusty I love it! :mfr_lol:    :listencarefully: Sorry to hear that and commiserations for your brother's marital plight. :embarrassed:

(I have long thought that a vintage Duke would make a great piece of decorative art in a large enough house. )

I am at the end of the terrace and have side alley access to the rear.  There is a locked gate at the street end.

The narrowness of the alley, coupled with the narrowness of my gate, currently precludes motorcycle access.  However if I doubled up the garden access width it could work.  I wonder if that would satisfy the  ISHs (Insurance Shite Hawks).

You don't get to explain the set-up to an underwriter any more; There is not the space on the computerised forms to explain  i.e,  You get :Garaged Overnight...Yes/No

However, I will give it a go.  If nothing else, the process will provide great rant inspiration   :mfr_lol:

i know a guy who keeps his Repsol 1000RR 2005 in absolute mint condition 6000 miles in his front room via the patio doors, then again he too is single.
get a grip and deal with it

Nothing wrong with keeping bikes in the house, Smartys Gixxer and my Yam XJR spent the winter in the Dining room some years back :gunsmilie:
