Just because many do it does not make it right. Just because many think it does not make it true.

My vehicle doesn't have a hand brake either.
The only way to keep it from rolling sometimes is to keep the right foot on the brake pedal.
Unfortunately it's just too heavy to stop it from rolling (especially backwards) even with both feet down.
You guessed it  :stupid: it's a GTR.  :mfr_lol:
The later you brake the longer you go fast.

:mfr_lol:   I don't mind how bright a bikes break light is. Saddly, not always bright enough

If you stick it in Park you have to go past Reverse which scares the hell out of those behind you !!!!
your gonna have to put up with those brake lights burning into your retinas, Sorry!!

Well, the only car I ever drove with automatic wouldn't move either if you put the hand brake on.
So I think it's just a lame excuse.

What is hooooooning?

It's clearly a verb.  Possibly of Viking origin;  they did quite a bit of R&P up there.  :mfr_lol:

I thought when you go to buy a BMW indicators were an optional extra, that most dont seem to go for.

Nok12rs

BMW indicators???

Don't get me started on indicators!!!!

If we are talking cars, no  :single fuck:ER where I live seems to have them.  And the four by four folks also failed to bother with the "How wide is my car and how many metres from the nearside parked cars am I?" option.

But they obvious;ly paid for the "How to drive down the centre of a residential street and totally ignore the existance of any other :single fuck: ing road users"  Driving Course.  :asshole:s

And they sit on the foot brake at the traffic lights.   I, of course, when I occasionally have the use of an HSE RR Sport, am  a paragon of courteous and attentive driving :innocent:

It's only when I get on a GTR that all semblance  functional cognitive senses seem to disappear.   :hammer: :hammer: :hammer: :mfr_lol:

oh dear... yo can tell i'm on a touring forum  :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol:

Hooning is a derogatory term used in Australia and New Zealand, to refer to a anyone who engages in loutish, anti-social behaviours. In particular, it is used to refer to one who drives a car or boat in a manner which is anti-social by the standards of contemporary society, that is, fast, noisily and/or dangerously. In New Zealand, the term "boy racer" is also widely used. Another slang term, revhead — derived from "rev", an alternate term for RPM — is sometimes used in place of hoon. However, "revhead" can refer to any car enthusiast, while hoon is always pejorative. "Anti-hoon laws", while they generally concern road vehicles, sometimes also target anti-social behaviour in motor boats.

Hoon activities can include speeding, burnouts, doughnuts or screeching tires.[1] Those commonly identified as being involved in "hooning" or street racing are young and predominantly male, although increasingly female, drivers in the age range of 17 and 35 years.[2]

Hoon control laws are beginning to be extended to dangerous and annoying hoon behaviour using boats and other vessels, particularly jet skis. The State of Victoria, Australia passed legislation in late 2009 to control hoon activities using recreational vessels.[3]

See?  I told you; Viking in origin and taken by the offspring of Viking R&P (t' north) to the antipodes where the tradition is clearly alive and thriving.
