I meant to post this a couple of weeks ago, when I had the work done.... but this is why you always have a quick look over ones bike before removing it from the loving hands of the spanner monkey who has been working on ones bike.

and yes i rode most of the way home before i realised i could here something rattling..

She is like the Bumblebee, she should not fly....... and yet she does!

Kwikasfuki

Where was that done? Name and shame.

That is shocking to be honest.

Exactly why I mostly do my own maintenance.
My bike, so if I f**k up it's my fault and my life.

not a Kawasaki dealer, and trust me the spanky monkey in question won't be doing that again.... we had words... and i advised him had i been killed my wifes more 'questionable' irish relatives would have popped across and nail gunned his knees to the floor.
Had I crashed and lived, i would have beaten him to death with help of Mr Spear and Mr Jackson, manufacturs of finest heavy spades..
The garage in question will reman anonymous, as its not likley any of you chaps would go in there and also he has showered me with gifts to ensure my silence...  :gunsmilie:

A valid lesson to us all Moggy though as you say. I guess we shouldn't be complacent and just assume a garage has done a proper job and then ride off into the sunset.

nigelp

Essex boy will be along on this one with a few choice examples of his own from his recent past!

My son is a motorcycle mechanic and they have to safety check each others work before a bike leaves the workshop
