Got a free Sat on 10th and fancy a ride out?
I have and I do!!
few 'new faces' from essex just joined us here and wonder if they (and anyone else) fancies a meet?
My folks are down in Clackers and havent seen them this year, so I'll be heading that sorta way and pop in for a cuppa. Any suggestions, takers?
Oh I might just go via colchester to find the dealer - for no other reason, than to find out where it is:-)

I'm up for that and happy to meet up on the A12 and guide you in to the dealers at Colchester Hythe. Sadly can't provide any local "talent" as Mrs P doesn't do pillion duties, so all you Essex girl fans will have to find your own!

Suggest we meet up at the Springfield services, BP garage, just 200 yards off the junction. There's McD there if you need it, or you're welcome to pop in to ours for a cuppa beforehand, we're just 5 mins further South off the A12.

Time to suit you after 10am. I know a great tea rooms for lunch if we want, or there are plenty of chippies on the front obviously.

Oh and I'll probably be on my R1150GS, very orange so you won't miss me. I'm sure Essex Boy will join us if he's free.

exceelent'e sounds like a plan beginning to come together....
which junction is that? Prefer a tea room to a chippie, but easy either way. IF this mild weather continues (gets even nicer) could turn into a nice little run....
Also got a mate with zzr1400 (not sure which forum he uses...) but he also quite often can make a ride on a Saturday, so I'll see if he's also free..

I'll have to pass i'm afraid, as i being taken out for dinner the evening before and seeing as i'm not paying, someone will be pouring me into the taxi, probably out of a shopping trolly  .... and so will be in no fit state the following morning

Possibly adding a Hayabusa to the mix just to keep it interesting with another Essex biker joining us.

I'll get the junction details for Springfield and will check if the tea rooms will be open, if not may divert us off to Leigh on sea for the best Fish and Chips I've ever had, well worth while.

Will try to add a a couple more bikes to the mix as well.

Hi Nigel P you never mentioned this while watching Liverpool lose to the Scum yesterday. Definitely up for it but a case of working out how it can be done.

The new GTR needs to go in for it's first 600 miler at Colchester Kawasaki on Saturday. So could ride up there with you guys, drop the bike off and hire a small 600 to continue up to whereever you lot go.

Kills 2 birds with one stone... thats good. Just need Van Persie bumped off now too.

Sounds like i will have to pass as I need to put my car in to the dealers on Saturday as it is going up for sale and they have a keen buyer.

hi nigel, got your pm, no worries. Good luck with the car. I'll prob just have a bit of a bimble into to essex, mooch around HG at Braintree and then onto the dealer just for somat to do :-)
Depending on time and how the mood takes me may carry on to see the family in Clacton or just carry on riding around.

 Hi nigel, Hope that the motor goes. Am dropping GTR into Colchester Kawasaki at 9.15 tomorrow morning, so if any one drops in say Hi. I will have the Green GTR.
Still got the tank vacuum problem so will be interested to see them open it !

Great run out, Triumph Ongar, Finchingfield tea room, Kwaka Colchester. Super weather - really enjoyed. Oh,my mates plans changes so he joined me, trouble was he was on his zzr and leading cos I has sat nav bracket incident - and he was holding me up.......  but that was because his missus had decided to join us, so he had to play captain sensible haha.
So at Colchester we went our seperate ways and I had great run to Clacton and then back on me own.

Sorry i missed you EB, hope the vacuum issue was sorted??
