france trip date set!

just booked 12 days off work starting from 3rd august 2012 for our south of france trip. can't wait, then we will see if the gtr is better than the zzr taking everything into account. will be going via eurotunnel and the french and swiz alps will be included at some point will post exact route and other destinations when discussed and agreed with my mate.

You are a lucky chap. First and only time I went to the south of France on a bike was on my Honda CX500, when they were popular, that gives you an indication as to how long ago we are talking!!

WHAT ?????.... You are leaving these shores in early August ?? When the Olympics will be in full swing and the roads will be full and the streets crammed with visitors and no one will be able to move anywhere ..... and you choose to go off into the mountains of some far away place and enjoy yourself ????  BRILLIANT !
