Just been on Autotrader ...  look for GTR's min price of £10000 and the very last one that pops up is a dealer called " GT Superbikes " and shows the new GTR1400 in next years new Green availiable from January .... not the bright green that we are used to but a darker shade ... more like the old Rover British Racing Green.
Not for me, I like the colors we have now .. but what do you think ??

Lonewolf

I think it could be an acquired taste...

I have to admit I was never too impressed wth the metallic magnesium when it first came out but I do like it now and I would definately consider that colour.

Here Here !
At first i thought " OMG What on earth have they done " ? I am a dark man myself ... Blue or Black ... NOT Green !
BUT, Magnesium has grown on me. Lets wait and see.

I do like the green, but more I like the red they have in the states.
I'm getting a bit bored of black now tbh

I must agree that I have really warmed to my own magnesium colour. Even now I still embarrassingly refer to it as metallic brown whenever anyone asks what colour it is, but I like it more and more each day.

I keep seeing Volvo soft-roader things in the same colour, I reckon Kawasaki and Volvo joined forces and bought over-stock from a taste-challenged paint company.

In contrast to LR, I think the GTR would look magnificent in white - that pearlescent Ducati 848 white in particular. There are some photos of US Police C14s on the net, and white definately works for me.

Like this....

Bingo, I do think that looks superb. I think I'd want to keep the black wheels from my 2010 model however.

Added bonus, plenty of Hi-Viz reflective stickers on it (as I do anyway) and everyone will move out of your way on the motorway  ;)

To be honest, if you wanted to have one resprayed white it probably wouldn't be that much of a job. There's not that much of the bike to re-spray.

Its not, and I'm seriously considering getting mine done to burgundy

Edit: I just saw the white. Pearl white would be brilliant. Motorists would really think I'm a copper then! High vis jacket, blue leds, modulating hyper lights, white bike ....

Go for the re spray ... a chap at work has his Blackbird re done in a metallic blue .... and it looks stunning. Plus the fact you then have the bike you love in the colour you want .... doesn't get better than that !

Lonewolf

I might start wearing one of my old work high viz jackets and a white helmet I want to look like a copper too

Lonewolf

Initially I wasn't too sure about the dark green but then I saw this and changed my mind totally.

I definately prefer the top pictures and the darker green, this light green looks a bit pukey!!

Kwikasfuki

I like the green Mohawk he's got on his helmet  ;D
