I was looking at buying a new seat, or getting mine remodelled and recovered, and I was looking on the Top Sellerie site and saw they were doing some great seats on offer

So in a moment of, wine fuelled, impetuosness I ordered one. At £220 for the complete seat, you can do it for less if you PX your exisitnig seat, I thought it was great value.

Well the service was fantastic, quick depatch and fully tracked, seat arrived today and looks really well made.

Pics on bike and ride report later, but here is what it loks like out of the box.

Have to say I don't need a new seat but they look very well put together and for that price they will sell well

Ok chaps, just back from a cheeky 60 miles, and I can report than the seat rocks :punk: really comfy, firmer than stock and the shape is good too, you can still move around the bike if you want to but there is definitely less sliding about. I think it looks great on the bike, and it fits perfectly. Initial pillion feedback is that its slightly wider and firmer and has a better shape for the pillion too.

So, so far so good, well pleased

No gel, had gel seats before and not got on with them. This is a lot firmer than stock, not uncomfortably so though.

Does it lower your legs or are your legs still the same height using this seat?

IE, is your rear lower to the ground over a stock seat?

Alan

I think it may be a bit lower, but not much, I've always been able get my feet pretty much flat on the floor.

Looks very koo-elle  !!!

Are there any after maket  saddles which raise the height?  I had one for my K12RS which raised the height by 1.5".  Brill for me and was super comfy.

The more I look at the pics, the lower the saddles seem to be.   All will be revealed next week.
Just because many do it does not make it right. Just because many think it does not make it true.

Cartman

It's definitely not lower than stock, and because it gives less you feel slightly higher. Done 500 miles on it and it's so comfy. I have a 34" inside leg, and I have never felt better on the bike.
