Those were the days......

God, I'm not 40 yet! But talk of XR4i's, Mexico's, Mk1, Mk2, RS2000's, Vauxhall Viva droop snoot's.

"Back in the summer of '63 (not quite), we're, the best days of our lives".

It all takes me back to school days.  I love it, oh and the XR4i. (You can keep he Rover).

There's just something special about cars from that era...or maybe its me...either way I love 'em.

I still remember my first car. A Datsun 120 which I bought for 90 quid.
Then I purchased a Ford cortina. Fond memories of those cars.

Never got to a ford granada as it was too much for a penniless student to afford at the time. Mind you 4 star was about 40p for a litre

I NEED one or the other for commuting, but car commuting is a major PITA!! Oh, 'cept when its really bloody cold. Missus has a car, but rarely uses it - I could get away without a car, which I would if one had to go.
