What about a decent hugger, I cant see any links for them. Anybody got one and can recommend a particular brand?
If there's one thing I do want its a hugger ;D

Kwikasfuki

Bear with me, will update it again tonight. Skidmax do huggers

Huggers ???
Try putting " Mudsling " into Google ... i am pretty sure that's the name... I know they do very sturdy and decent huggers for BMW R1200's and would imagine any make would be catered for... give it a go !

Kwikasfuki

Looks like mudsling are for BMW only. I'd go for a carbon hugger.

I did give my bike its six month clean on Sunday and was grateful for the hugger. Little dirt and no rust

What about exhausts? The potato launcher has to go.

Lonewolf

Gotta admit, I like the standard exhaust. If you ever decide to sell it let me know, could be interested if its pretty cheap  ;D

Kwikasfuki

What exhaust have you currently got?
I've pit a remus on mine. The soul of the bike is back

Ive still got the original exhaust on the bike, but it never hurts to have a spare just in case you drop the bike as they are like rockin horse poo to find second hand .

da_boom

So I've seen the Leo Vance and BeoWulf on eBay. There's also the Two Bros and Remus on my short list.

Does anyone have a view as to which is the easiest to install? I'm not interested in getting a power commander to put on and a remapping done which I understand the Two Bros requires.

Lonewolf

The Beowulf exhausts are guaranteed to fit without any hassle. They are based in Halifax not a million miles from where I work.
However I once bought a radiator cover for a bike from them and it wasn't even close to fitting. I took the bike in and they were quite suprised when it was way too big. As a gesture of goodwill they used my bike to measure one up and then gave me a new cover for free. They are very helpful, give them a ring I'm sure they will sort you something out.

Kwikasfuki

I have the Remus Hexacone and that is a doddle to fit as well. It gives a nice, deep, throaty sound. At some point I intend to remove the bafler.

Added MRA Vario screen.

Tempted to buy it myself. As much as I love the Ultra Tour, what I don't like is

1. It removes downwards pressure from the front wheel when raised
2. Annoys my vision when filtering so I always have to lower it
